3. Is registration free?

Yes, basic registration is free. However, we also offer premium plans with added benefits such as viewing contact details, sending personalized messages, and accessing advanced search filters.


4. How do I create a profile?

  • Click on “Register” on the homepage.

  • Fill in your personal details such as name, age, gender, community, education, profession, etc.

  • Upload a profile photo (optional but recommended).

  • Verify your mobile number/email to activate your profile.


5. How secure is my personal information?

We respect your privacy. Your personal details will be kept confidential and shared only with other registered members as per your privacy settings. We do not sell or misuse your data.


6. Can I hide my photo or contact details?

Yes. You can control who sees your photo and contact details by adjusting your privacy settings.


7. How do I upgrade to a premium membership?

  • Go to “Upgrade / Membership Plans”.

  • Select a plan and make the payment securely online.

  • Once confirmed, premium features will be activated immediately.


8. Can Meghalayan Matrimony guarantee marriage?

No. Meghalayan Matrimony provides a platform for introductions, but the success of finding a partner depends on mutual compatibility and individual decision-making.


9. How do I report fake or abusive profiles?

If you come across any suspicious, fake, or offensive profiles, you can report them by clicking on “Report Profile” or contacting our customer support. We take such complaints seriously.


10. Can I delete my profile?

Yes. You can delete or deactivate your profile anytime by going to Account Settings. Once deleted, your details will no longer be visible to other members.


11. What if I forget my password?

Click on “Forgot Password” on the login page, enter your registered email/phone number, and follow the instructions to reset it.
